Sebring High School

At the last Board meeting Sebring High School Health Science instructor Amanda Parker was joined by students Cyril Wright and Maya VanDam to share information about the opportunities provided through their coursework. Our high school Health Science Academies are creating pathways for students to enter the high skill and high wage field of health care, and it was great to hear these young leaders share about their experiences in the program.

Congratulations to Riley Stone, a senior at Sebring High School, on being honored tonight as the 2025 Champion for Children Youth Award recipient!

Once purchased, your ticket is non-refundable🚫💵 You MUST have your emergency treatment form completed and on file as well as your green paper📗 indicating you are permitted to ride on a commercial vehicle. (These are in the front office if you need one) 👕Also, don't forget to purchase your senior T-shirt. Order forms are in the front office and under classwork in the google classroom. 🚗 Electrathon Car Transformation! ⚡ A huge thank you to Highlands Powder Coating for their incredible work on the Sebring High School Electrathon car! What started as a rusty frame has now been completely sandblasted and powder-coated, resulting in a beautiful, durable finish. The moment the frame arrived in class, students in the Robotics and Engineering program, led by Instructor Mike Harris, jumped right in to continue building their vehicle. Their dedication and enthusiasm are evident as they prepare for the Florida Power & Light Electrathon at Sebring Raceway this May. This project would not be possible without the support of local businesses like Highlands Powder Coating. Exciting News for Sebring High School CTE! Check out the brand-new 15-bay welding lab at Sebring High School! This state-of-the-art facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including a Scotchman Ironworker, to give students hands-on experience in metal fabrication and welding. In just two weeks, students will be stepping into this incredible space to develop industry-ready skills, earn certifications, and prepare for high-demand careers. This is a huge step forward for our Career and Technical Education programs, and we can’t wait to see our students in action! 🌟 Future Healthcare Heroes in Action! 🌟 Nursing Instructor, Ms. Parker couldn’t be more proud of the Sebring High School Health Science students! 🙌 Over the past few weeks, they’ve been mastering hands-on skills that will set them up for success in their future healthcare careers. From practicing phlebotomy techniques, IM injections, and centrifuge lab work using our interactive JUNO mannequin, to performing vital signs and EKGs on each other, these students are proving they have what it takes to make a difference in the medical field. 🩺💉⚡ Their dedication, teamwork, and passion for learning are inspiring to witness every single day.
