Did you know that AVID juniors & seniors are required to enroll in an Advanced Placement, IB or Dual Enrollment class(es) in order to be in AVID? It may be challenging, but they are ready‼️ We build strong foundations in 9th & 10th grade to give them CONFIDENCE to do more💥
*Seniors were hard at work today during their student-led tutorials🧠

Culinary 1- all 3 classes today made homemade tacos with homemade tortillas. I have to say these kids are truly amazing to me and at times drive me crazy .At lab time they as a team pull 30 kids together from handwashing/prep/cooking/dishes-clean up, they do an outstanding job. I am very proud of them, I probably don’t say it enough , there just amazing group of kids. 💯🥗🍕🥖🥓🌿👍🏻‼️ --SHS Culinary
