Here are some fast facts for your reference:

🗸 Online applications are on the SHS IB Programme webpage.

🗸 Preferred deadline is Feb 13. After that, students are accepted as long as there is room in the required courses.

Information Session will be Tuesday, January 21st at 7:15 pm at the SHS Smith Center.

Requirements for admission:

Criterion 1--Minimum GPA of 3.0 in 7th grade.

Criterion 2--Minimum of level 3 (on grade level) on 7th grade FAST P3 English Language Arts or an equivalent standardized test score

Criterion 3--Minimum of level 3 (on grade level) on last FAST P3 Math or Algebra 1 EOC or Geometry EOC or an equivalent standardized test

Completion of Algebra 1 before 9th grade is strongly recommended, but not required.

Criterion 4--Demonstration of on grade level academic writing ability in a writing sample.

Students who are below a level 3 in either math or ELA, may be reconsidered with passing 8th grade FAST P3 scores.Information Session will be January 21 at 7:15 P.M. at the SHS Smith Center.
