This special shop gives students the chance to use their “Show Your Blue” tickets to purchase a gift for a special family member. Each student may select one gift, but we need your help to make it happen!
🛍️ We are accepting donations now through Friday, December 12.
If you’re able, please drop off items at the SMS Front Office.
Students often shop for siblings, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and teachers. If you have new or gently used items that students would enjoy gifting, we would be incredibly grateful.

The SHS Colorguard Team is growing, and we’re looking for new members to join our 2025–2026 Competition Team!
✨ We dance, spin flags, rifles, and sabres — and we have tons of fun doing it!
🕓 Practices: After school at SHS on Tuesdays & Thursdays
📅 Tryouts: November 13th & 14th, 4–7 PM at the SHS Band Room

This special event features artwork from middle school students across Highlands County, including our talented Sebring Middle School artists. One student’s artwork will be selected to represent Highlands County and be displayed in our state’s Capitol building from January–March 2026 — an incredible honor and opportunity!

🎀 Red Ribbon Week 🎀
Red Ribbon Week is an annual campaign dedicated to promoting drug-free lifestyles and encouraging healthy, safe choices among students.
Sebring Middle School will be participating October 27–31. Let’s work together to make positive choices and show our commitment to being drug-free!
Monday - be RED-y to live drug free by wearing red.
Tuesday - Piece Together a Bright Future by wearing neon or bright colors.
Wednesday - Let's War Against Drugs by wearing your grade level's colors .
6th - blue
7th - white
8th - black
Thursday - Put Bad Habits to Rest by wearing your school appropriate pajamas.
Friday - Say Boo to Drugs! Costume day (no masks or weapons - dress codes still applies).

Parent Drop Off
$2 donuts
SMS will be selling donuts to parents in the drop off line, and to students in the courtyard before school.
All monies collected for this “Donut Miss Out” event will benefit an SMS student and their family.
